I am Edwin, I want to take a brief moment to introduce myself as well as give you a glimpse of who I am, what I believe, and why I enjoy being a Tampa private lender. I grew up in KY, the oldest of 6 siblings. I joined the military in 2002 and served 13.5 years. I deployed seven times in combat operations and earned the coveted Green Beret, serving on ODA 7325, a combat dive team. I was honorably discharged in Oct 2015 and immediately stepped into my current career as a private money lender in Tampa.
Interestingly enough I started my real estate investing journey, by becoming a Florida hard money lender, NOT the standard way to get into RE Investing!
I worked hard at understanding the laws and regulations around private lending, how to mitigate risks, and how to maximize a return for myself and my investors. The first loan I originated was during my last deployment to Afghanistan in the summer of 2014, while on the side of a mountain! Since then, I have been passionate about the lifestyle that private lending provides, and the relationships I am privileged to build.
