Out with the Old, In with the New
Many times for newer real estate investors, being able to figure out how to make a tight spaced bathroom seem larger can be challenging, especially with bathrooms made in the 60’s. Because we funded 100% of the renovation, the investor was able to properly budget to give this bathroom a full facelift, and add space where they could.

By utilizing every square inch of a room, investors can add storage, and make use of “dead” space with certain creature comforts. Take for instance the shelving inset in the shower, as well the bathroom sink tabletop. There was dead space under the old sink, and now the homeowner had full utilization of this area. By creating an inset for shower items they allowed the homeowner to maximize their smaller walk-in shower.

Oh, the old galley-style kitchens! These can be frustrating, but in this case the wall that you see, with the oddly placed cabinetry, was a spacer wall to a formal dining room. Open-concept living areas (which include the kitchen) are what homeowners look for. It makes the home look bigger, and less compartmentalized. As you will see in the next photo the wall with the fridge and stove was removed, while the cabinets and countertops wrapped the back wall.
